The application is built using physiognomic techniques outlined in the book Fizionomizm / Razroev E.A. - Moscow, 2005 - 32 p., Ill. ISBN 5-98982-001-1. The application allows you to make a preliminary analysis of the socio-psychological characteristics of any person. However, due to the fact that the analysis is carried out automatically, there may be erroneous and inaccurate interpretations.

Work with the application involves the use of facial photographs with high resolution and contrast. The most accurate estimates are achieved when the person in the picture is strictly en face, eyes are looking at the camera, chin is not lowered and raised. Moreover, the picture must be focused and the area of the face is at least 700 x 1000 pixels. The application allows you to use the photo taken by phone camera (including the gallery of the phone), as well as ones from the internet (if you know the URL-address of this photo).

After downloading the photo to the application it is being pre-processed (performing self-alignment of control points (markers) on the main contours). Since the automatic arrangement does not guarantee the accuracy, you are invited to clarify the position of the markers manually moving them if necessary. Please note that the accuracy of the assessment of the socio-psychological characteristics dependends on the accuracy of marker placement and the absence of confounding factors, such as emotional expression on face. The main element of the application is the analysis of the periocular area of the face. Therefore, please pay enough attention to accurate placement of markers along the contour of the eyelids and in the middle of the pupil. Inaccurate placement of these markers leads to erroneous assessments of all areas of the personality.

After verifying the location of markers and sending the photo with markers for processing, there is an automatic personality typing, as a result you get a description of the most probable for the person social and psychological characteristics. This description should not be treated as an absolute truth, there is a chance of error even during manual processing, while during the automatic processing the possibility of error is definitely higher. However, our experience shows rather high accuracy of this technique
